The charms are "spring-loaded - pull the design back on one charm, and push forward on the other charm until the "hook" shows, then hook them together.
It is a personal preference as to how loose or tight you wear your bracelet. If you need to make it smaller or larger, follow the video instructions above. Be sure to save any "blank" charms you remove, eventually, you will have another blank bracelet to fill!
